About Jessie

Jessie Turner is the owner of Chroma Art Studio located in the historic building that was formerly Frieden’s Church. Jessie creates most of the paintings used at Chroma Art Studio, leads most of the step-by-step classes and workshops that take place there, and creates or designs all of the products sold by Chroma. She strives to make Chroma a place where everyone can be creative. It is all about having fun! 

Jessie’s work spans across many areas including digital art, graphic design, web design, painting, sculpture, textile and fiber. She frequently questions the boundaries between art and craft, and her work often falls within the realm of sustainable and functional art. Jessie likes to use a variety of techniques and materials. She loves learning new things and enjoys exploring new styles and methods to create her art.
